Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in habilitation, you will have the opportunity to use your entire skill set and also broaden it. Our operations target patients with functional variations within, among other diagnosis groups, autism spectrum disorders, mobility impairments, and intellectual disabilities.

As a staff member in habilitation, you are expected to be motivated to continuously develop your skills regarding the interventions we offer. This may involve conducting the generalized parent education programs we offer to guardians.

Your focus will primarily be on mobility impairments, and your responsibilities will include assessing needs, prescribing, fitting, adjusting, and following up on individually adapted aids. There will also be tasks related to behavior, independence training, time management, and structure. We provide interventions both individually and in groups. Work can be conducted either digitally or physically on-site at the Habilitation facilities and, if necessary, in the patient's immediate environment. The goal is for the child to actively participate in their surroundings and have a meaningful daily life. The interventions are tailored to the child's specific needs. Qualifications

You are a licensed occupational therapist. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in habilitation or with the target group of habilitation, if you have experience in assessment and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with functional variations, and if you have led groups. Experience working with the AsynjaVisph journal system is a plus.

We are looking for someone with expertise in:

• Mobility impairments
• Prescribing aids
• Assessment and rehabilitation of hands

The work is conducted in collaboration with guardians and other professionals within habilitation, as well as with the patient's network such as school staff, short-term care, the aids center, various authorities, and other healthcare providers, which places high demands on collaboration skills, flexibility, and good interpersonal skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Since travel is required for the position, you need to have a B driver's license.
