Career Consultant for Rusta & Matcha
Arcus is an education and job placement company that provides services to both public organizations and private clients, and is a supplier to the Employment Service. For over 25 years, we have delivered our services and are now present in over 100 locations in southern and central Sweden, ready to support our participants in finding work or pursuing further studies.

About the Position
Arcus is now looking for a driven and dedicated career consultant for the Rusta & Matcha service!
As a Career Consultant, you will meet people who have been job seekers for an extended period and need your support to find their place in the labor market again.
To succeed in the role of career consultant, you should:
- Have a solution-oriented approach
- Be trustworthy and able to build good relationships with both participants and employers.
- Have a strong sense of service and responsiveness that comes naturally to you, and you are used to having a lot of contact with other people.
- Be passionate about helping participants succeed in finding work or studies.
- Be able to apply Arcus' methods and working practices to create results and ensure compliance with agreements.
You will work with people both individually and in groups through individual conversations, workshops, interview training, and company visits.
Business contacts are an important part of matching participants with jobs, which means we are looking for someone who can develop a network and has a strong ability to create and maintain business and customer contacts.
Formal Qualifications
Option 1
Education: University degree of at least 180 higher education credits.
Work experience: At least 2 years of work experience equivalent to full-time. Part-time can also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two years.
Option 2
Education: At least 1 year of full-time studies at the post-secondary level with at least a passing grade.
Work experience: At least 3 years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks:
- Supervision with personnel responsibility
- Recruitment
- Transition work for job seekers
- Study and career guidance
- Handling personnel issues (not just personnel administration)
- Work with labor and labor market issues
- Work with social and group psychology
- Career guidance

Information
The position is on behalf of the Employment Service and is advertised in Norrköping, Linköping, and Mjölby. Travel in the role occurs between the mentioned locations.
