Tech Talent Program at Saab

Your Role

Saab is growing, and as part of our development journey, we are now offering a talent program for those with a strong interest in technology, a desire to learn and grow, and a vision of becoming a technology expert. The program is divided into three main blocks that you will rotate between for 12 months, giving you the opportunity to build competence and experience working in several areas within Underwater Systems. The Tech Talent Program allows you to explore some of our innovative projects and products, learn about our advanced technology, and work in different phases of our product development cycle. At the end of the program, you will choose, in consultation with your manager, which technology area you wish to continue working in.

As part of our Tech Talent program, you do not need to be an expert from the start; we support you in growing and becoming confident in your role. Through training, mentorship, and practical experience, you will receive the tools needed to develop step by step with us. The program content is tailored to each participant based on education, experience, and interest.

The Underwater Systems Tech Talent Program is suitable for those who want to kickstart their career with an intensive development curve while laying the foundation to become a specialist in underwater technology. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow quickly and be challenged daily.

At Saab, Business Unit Underwater Systems, we develop and sell torpedo and sensor systems as well as autonomous and remotely operated underwater vehicles. Due to our proximity to our testing sites, Underwater Systems offers an exciting mix of both theoretical and practical tasks. Your Profile

You are a graduate engineer in one of the following or equivalent fields:

• Engineering Physics
• Electronics
• Computer Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

We value both your education and your willingness to learn. Additionally, you are curious, engaged, and driven by solving technical challenges. You enjoy working independently and taking responsibility, but you are also a team player who wants to be part of something bigger and make a difference. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
