Production Operator for Geometric Grinding

About the Position

We are currently seeking a geometric grinder for one of our clients in Norrköping. The client company is a recognized global supplier of cutting tools and tooling solutions for various industries, focusing on developing innovative and high-performance products that enhance productivity and precision in machining processes.

Job Description

As a Production Operator in the geometric grinding department, you will play a crucial role in the production of tools with complex geometric shapes, requiring high precision and accuracy.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Geometric grinding on advanced grinding machines, where you will be responsible for loading, setting up, and adjusting the machine to achieve exact geometric shapes.
• Following specific drawings and technical instructions.
• Continuous quality control to ensure that geometric specifications are met.
• Using computer-based systems to record and document product information and work orders.

About You

We are looking for someone with an industrial technical background. If you have previously worked with any form of machining on controlled machines and are accustomed to working from drawings, it is highly meritorious. Furthermore, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and be familiar with working with computers and various programs. You are cooperative and thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment. You need to be stress-resistant and able to handle pressured situations.

This is a consulting assignment for at least 6 months, with great opportunities for extension and employment with our client. The position will be filled continuously.

Desired Experience

• Experience working in production.
• Industrial technical education, using micrometers.
• Ability to independently load, set up, and adjust the machine.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings.
• Experience working with computer-based systems for registration and documentation.
