For one of our clients, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for a Commissioning Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs, with a good possibility of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a commissioning engineer, you will be a central part of the testing process for advanced gas turbines. Your main task is to ensure that each machine and its auxiliary equipment functions according to specifications and is ready for delivery. You will both participate in and lead the commissioning of gas turbine packages, both in workshop environments and at customer sites.

Your tasks include:

• Leading and coordinating the testing team to ensure that schedules are met.
• Performing test runs of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment, as well as conducting testing of complete deliveries.
• Documenting work through checklists and reports, with accuracy and structure.
• Training and supporting employees in commissioning and testing processes.
• Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to solve technical challenges and ensure the highest quality.

If necessary, you will also contribute technical expertise at our customers' sites, which requires both technical breadth and a solution-oriented approach.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver with a strong technical foundation and the ability to lead and inspire others. You are persistent, structured, and thrive in a role that requires both independence and collaboration. Your communication skills are an asset in dialogue with colleagues, customers, and other partners.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Engineering degree with a focus on operations, energy, electrical power, machinery, or control engineering.
• At least two years of experience in leading work within commissioning or maintenance.
• Practical experience working with larger machines, preferably gas turbines or similar.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Documented computer skills and administrative experience.

Desirable:

• Experience in control engineering.
• Knowledge and experience in complex machine testing or similar work environments.
