About the role

As an Electronics Engineer, you will work with various types of radio systems and communication. You will work on the integration of radios with different aircraft and systems. This could involve voice communication with civil airspace or military command and control. There are also tactical data links where sensors help create a situational awareness. Software and systems for ground communication are also developed to enable communication between the aircraft and technicians on the ground.

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be part of a team of 11 people working with systems and software related to various radio and communication systems. The team has many ongoing projects and more exciting projects coming up, hence the need to expand the workforce. Together, you work to meet various customer requirements as well as civil and NATO requirements. As an Electronics Engineer, you are solely responsible for the hardware in the team, making you an important and valuable piece of the puzzle!

Examples of tasks for you as an Electronics Engineer:

• Contact with subcontractors, handling various environmental requirements, documentation, and process management.
• Work independently and practically with electronics by installing devices in test rigs, performing various oscilloscope measurements, and measuring microphones and radio transmitters.
• Extensive communication both internally and externally.

Requirements for the position:

• Relevant post-secondary degree in Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Equivalent
• Relevant work experience
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form
• Citizenship requirements due to work in a classified area

Desirable qualifications for the position:

• Strong technical interest and interest in aviation
• Experience working with sensors and radar systems
