JP IT-Konsult i Stockholm AB is a growing consulting company collaborating with various established clients. We deliver mission-critical and innovative IT solutions in complex environments and are now looking for a structural engineer with a focus on underwater vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of structural engineer, you will:

• Perform pressure and buckling calculations for underwater vehicles and their equipment
• Analyze bolt connections and conduct vibration calculations
• Utilize Ansys and LS-Dyna for advanced mechanical strength analyses
• Work on-site in Linköping and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high quality and durability in products

Must-Have Requirements

1. 3–7 years of experience in structural or mechanical design
2. Documented knowledge and experience with Ansys and LS-Dyna
3. Experience in performing pressure and buckling analyses, calculating bolt connections, and conducting vibration analyses
4. Swedish citizenship and ability to undergo security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in marine technology or underwater vehicles
• Good understanding of material properties in extreme environments
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in product development
