Project Manager in Gripen Development

Do you want to lead important projects in one of Sweden's most advanced technical fields? SAAB in Linköping is now looking for a dedicated and structured project manager who wants to take overall responsibility for integration projects within Gripen development.

About the Role

As a project manager at SAAB, you will have the overall responsibility for driving and coordinating a defined assignment from start to finish. You will ensure that the project is delivered within the frameworks of time, technology, and economy. In this role, you will work in an integrating environment and be responsible for coordinating deliveries from several teams within the department to reach tactical declaration.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the assignment from start to finish with a focus on time, technology, and economy.
• Report the project's progress to the operationally responsible manager and block leader.
• Coordinate the department's deliveries, including both hardware (HW) and software (SW), according to SoW Integration and Test.
• Establish a clear goal picture, timeline, and project organization together with project members.
• Act proactively to identify and solve problems before they affect the project.
• Update the project's forecast monthly based on progress and financial outcomes.
• Represent the department at quarterly meetings and disseminate relevant information while gathering needs and actions.
• Ensure that a cohesive integration plan exists and that dependencies between different areas are clearly timed.
• Cross-functionally synchronize planned functional lifts from the planning stage to tactical declaration.
• Drive solutions in case of deviations and ensure that tactical declaration is achieved on time.
