With 3,000 employees in Finspång and an annual turnover of approximately 10 billion SEK, the company is a significant player in energy technology.
Your Responsibilities As a chemical engineer, you will have a varied and exciting role. You will administer and analyze lubricants from gas and steam turbines in operation and startup. The analyses are performed by an external laboratory, and your task will be to evaluate and report the results back to clients and projects. An important part of the job is to document and follow up trends in trend templates to ensure high quality and clear results.
You will also participate in development projects focusing on sustainability, for example, around the “fill-for-life” concept for lubricants. In addition, you will be responsible for administering, evaluating, and reporting water analyses performed by external laboratories.
A key part of your role is to act as a contact person for the client's external chemical laboratory. Together with two colleagues, you will manage follow-up meetings and communicate regarding specific assignments. You will also contribute your expertise in chemical engineering and handle questions about cleaning methods, chemical management, lubricants, coating tests, and preparation of acid solutions.
Finally, you will conduct internal training sessions with prepared course materials to share knowledge and strengthen the team's competence. This is a role for you who want to combine technical work with administration and development projects in a dynamic and engaged environment.
Your Profile We are looking for someone who:
- Has a university degree in chemical engineering, preferably as a chemical engineer at the bachelor's or master's level.
- Is meticulous, communicative, and has strong analytical skills.
- Thrives in a work environment that combines laboratory work with administrative tasks.
- Has the ability to work on-site, with flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
Application Procedure Selection will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline, so do not wait to send your CV and cover letter to us today. For any questions or inquiries, please contact the responsible recruiter Malin Åkerblom at [email protected]
