System Engineer for Gripen C/D

About the Role

As a system engineer, you will work with various types of radio systems and communication, both for civilian airspace and military command and control. You will also handle tactical data links that use sensors to create a situational awareness. Our team has many ongoing and upcoming exciting projects where we work together to meet customer requirements as well as civilian and NATO requirements.

Your main responsibilities:

• Requirement specification to ensure that the customer's desired functions are met through our software and hardware.
• Collaboration with international subcontractors to ensure technical coherence and integration.
• Work in simulators to verify and test system connections and functionality.
• Documentation and reporting to ensure accurate information from subcontractors and users.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an engineering degree or equivalent education in a relevant technical field.
• Has experience working with systems, electronics, or hardware, preferably within the defense industry or related fields.
• Has experience with radio systems and measurement systems (meritorious).
• Can express yourself clearly and concisely in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Is independent, proactive, and has a strong ability to work in a team to solve complex problems.
• Has experience in requirement specification, preferably in tools such as Doors.
