We are now looking for a systems engineer who wants to help develop the next generation of defense systems in a high-tech and socially important environment.

Your role

As a systems engineer, you will work on developing, analyzing, and integrating complex technical systems throughout their lifecycle - from concept and requirements specification to verification and commissioning. You will collaborate closely with designers, software developers, test engineers, and project managers in multidisciplinary teams.

Examples of tasks:

• Requirements management and system architecture
• System design and modeling
• Integration and verification of subsystems
• Technical risk analysis and validation
• Support during testing and commissioning
• Documentation according to applicable standards

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in systems development in complex technical environments. We believe you have a degree from a university or college, but we also highly value work experience from similar roles.

You have knowledge in requirements management and system architecture, are analytical, structured, and enjoy working in teams, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

Experience from defense, aviation, or security-classified operations, such as at Saab, BAE Systems, or FMV, is a merit.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
