The Role of Project Manager with Us

As a project manager with us, you will play a key role in the municipality's digital development. You will lead projects based on the needs of the operations. The assignments vary and may include feasibility studies, procurements, and implementation projects. The focus is often on digital solutions, but the role also allows you to drive other types of development projects depending on needs and priorities. The assignments can be both goal-oriented and goal-seeking, with a clear focus on creating impact and development in the operations.

With us, you will be an important ambassador and driving force for the municipality's change work. You will support operations in developing work methods, implementing new digital solutions, and translating strategies into practical reality. Your Profile

You are a confident project manager who can structure, plan, and drive projects forward. You take responsibility for keeping the whole together, following up on activities, and ensuring that assignments are delivered with quality. The role focuses on digital projects but also allows you to lead other types of development projects. You thrive on variation, are flexible, and can easily adapt when circumstances change.

You collaborate well with others and create good relationships both internally and externally. You communicate clearly and contribute to a shared drive in the assignment. The work is results-oriented and involves both goal-oriented and goal-seeking assignments. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant university degree in IT, systems science, or similar, or equivalent work experience in project management that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Relevant project management experience in IT/digitalization

It is advantageous if you have:

• Project management training
• Experience in change management
• Experience with project management models
• Experience in public procurement

The Development Unit is part of the Development, Communication, and Customer Support operations within the Service Administration. We are responsible for driving and coordinating the administration's development work – from idea and need to implementation and management.

Our mission spans the entire development journey and includes portfolio management as well as leading projects and assignments within both improvement and renewal. The focus is on digitalization and innovation, but also on other change management, such as service design with user and customer journeys, as well as management and further development of operational systems.

Within the unit, about ten engaged and experienced employees work in various specialist roles. Our ambition is high, as is the drive and joy of work, which makes it always fun to go to work. The team looks forward to welcoming a new colleague. Perhaps it is you?

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement.

We apply flexible working hours, and it is partially possible to work remotely.
