JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to lead and develop the IT operations in a company that plays an important role in the transition to a sustainable society? Varberg Energi is now looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for internal IT, information and cybersecurity, as well as the operation and development of the city's broadband network. As the IT Infrastructure Manager at Varberg Energi, you will have overall responsibility for the operation, management, and development of both the company's internal IT environment and broadband network. Your role is tactical with a strategic focus where you ensure a business-oriented IT organization. Availability, security, and stability are central while you drive the business forward.

In this role, you will lead and develop a competent team within IT and infrastructure with responsibility for personnel, budget, work environment, goals, and priorities. You will also be responsible for the company's cybersecurity and compliance with laws in the IT area, such as the Cybersecurity Act.

Together with the team and other parts of the organization, you will develop our IT environment and broadband operations, focusing on creating efficiency and profitability. The transition from active to passive technology in our broadband network will be an important part, and you will also play a key role in how we design and build our future infrastructure. You will be the asset owner for both active and passive broadband infrastructure.

You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the security manager, digital business developers, and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

• Relevant education or experience in IT and technology.
• Experience in leadership and responsibility within IT infrastructure, operations, and security issues.
• Good understanding of networks, servers, systems, and IT architecture.
• Experience in information and cybersecurity, preferably from critical or regulated operations.

As a leader, you are confident, clear, and attentive. You enjoy building relationships and creating collaboration around common goals. With your structural and analytical ability, you can make well-founded decisions, and you have a strong interest in the role of technology in the business.
