Your role with us

In your role, you will work strategically, tactically, and operationally with information security. You will have great opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of Region Halland's information security work.

Together with your colleagues, you will drive and coordinate the efforts required to ensure a structured and purposeful information security operation. The ongoing work consists of, among other things:

• Establishing and further developing a systematic approach to information security
• Practically working with information security management systems
• Leading, coordinating, and following up on the region's information security work
• Driving projects and contributing specialist expertise in projects and assignments
• Conducting workshops related to information security, such as information classification, risk analyses, and incident management
• Increasing security awareness in the region's administrations and companies by guiding, informing, and educating
• Reporting on the status of information security work and ongoing information security incidents
• Staying updated on changes in legislation and events in the world

We work closely with both core operations and IT, which provides a dynamic everyday life with varied tasks and challenges.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree; a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or other education combined with work experience in a relevant area
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation
• The ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Legal education
• Experience working with ISO 27001/27002, CIS controls, or information security management systems (ISMS)
• Experience working in public administration or politically governed organizations

You have the ability to inspire those around you and approach new challenges in a positive and solution-focused manner. Your role requires good collaboration skills and the ability to create contacts and trust. The work is done both in groups and independently, which means you need to be responsible as well as goal- and result-oriented. You find it easy to drive the work forward. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
