Together with the business, you will develop processes and working methods with a focus on digitalization. The goal is effective and maximum utilization of the NIS system and other IT systems, where functionality is used fully and correctly.

- Customer focusYou work to facilitate our customers' contact with Varberg Energi and our various utilities. At the same time, you create better conditions internally for employees working in the field or in our infrastructure projects.

- Internal simplification and efficiencyA key part of the role is to simplify internal working methods and contribute to a more efficient everyday life for our employees through smart use of system support and digital solutions.

- Long-term developmentYou work strategically on how the NIS system should be developed in harmony with Varberg Energi's business plans and future needs within infrastructure, electricity networks, district heating, and broadband.

- Integrations and system landscapeYou identify, evaluate, and drive integrations between the NIS system and other IT systems to create synergies, avoid double work, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

- System management and supplier contactYou take on the role of system manager and are the contact person for the system supplier. You drive system changes, lead the NIS system's key user team, and are responsible for ensuring that the business receives the right support, training, and conditions to use the system in the best way.

You will be placed with the head of Development and Sustainability and will be part of a digitalization team with other digital business developers. The environment is development-focused with a clear results orientation and the ambition to create synergies between different IT systems. You work closely with both managers and employees within the business and have the support of key users out in the organization.

The role reports to the VO manager for Development and Sustainability and involves budget follow-up for the NIS system together with the digitalization manager.

You have several years of experience working with system management and business development, preferably in technology-heavy or infrastructure-based organizations. We believe you have an academic background in IT, system development, or equivalent, and you have worked with network information systems (NIS) as a consultant, system manager, or key user. Experience from the energy sector is an advantage, as is previous experience with the DigPro system.

To succeed in this role, you need a good understanding of how project and operational organizations work, especially within electricity networks and district heating. You are used to change work and know that development sometimes requires persistence and clarity. You are not afraid to drive issues independently, even when resources are limited, and you have the ability to see the whole rather than getting stuck in today's working methods.

You are driven by creating long-term value for others and contributing to a better working day for colleagues, even if it sometimes means challenging established patterns. You are attentive yet clear, flexible without being vague, and thrive in a role where you both collaborate closely with the business and work independently on your assignment.
