As a Backend Developer at Våning 18 in Halmstad, you will build stable, scalable solutions that support both our customers' websites and our internal systems.

In the role of backend developer, you will be responsible for the core of our business system. The system manages customer data, employee information, contracts, invoicing, and integrations with external services. You will work on everything from architecture and database schema to performance optimization, integration solutions, and new features.

Responsibilities

• Further develop and improve our backend and business system
• Design and implement database structures
• Build and maintain REST APIs
• Integrate with third-party services
• Ensure high performance and security
• Participate in the entire chain from idea to deployment

We are looking for someone who

• Has excellent knowledge of modern PHP (version 8+)
• Has several years of experience with Laravel in live projects
• Has experience designing and building REST APIs
• Has a deep understanding of MySQL and query optimization
• Is familiar with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Has experience with queues and background processes
• Has good knowledge of Git and code review

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with React or TypeScript
• Experience with Redis or caching solutions
• Experience with Docker and container-based development
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
