Alice Lundsgymnasiet in Borlänge is a school with approximately 700 students. The school offers programs such as Child and Leisure Program, Business Program, Sales and Service Program, International Baccalaureate (IB), Social Science Program, and Health and Social Care Program.

Alice Lundsgymnasiet is part of the Alice Lund Education Center. The premises also house Introduction Programs, which are a separate school unit with about 150 students, programs from the adapted upper secondary school, and parts of Komvux. A total of about 130 people work at the Alice Lund Education Center.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position is based at Alice Lundsgymnasiet, but as a NIU teacher, you will also work for Soltorgsgymnasiet, a nearby high school, as NIU students attend both schools. There are a total of 66 students in NIU football in Borlänge city. As a teacher in NIU football, you will work in a team with other teachers and instructors. The job includes planning, executing, and following up on training together with your colleagues. In your work, you will follow the upper secondary school's curriculum and the subject plans that students read within the framework of NIU. The position also includes mentorship, and teaching in another subject than special sports may occur. Some documentation, where digital systems are a natural part, is also included in the work.

At Alice Lundsgymnasiet, we want students' schooling to be characterized by safety, well-being, and good social contacts. In your work as a NIU teacher, you will meet many students where coaching and motivational conversations are part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is educated in special sports and has training as a football coach at least at the UEFA Elite Youth A level. You should have practical experience in elite football and have previously worked with NIU. Being certified in another upper secondary subject is an advantage.

Very good oral and written skills in Swedish and good knowledge of English are required.

Since the position may involve travel, a B driver's license is a requirement.
