Preschool Teacher at Enviken Preschool

We are now looking for a preschool teacher to join our wonderful team at Enviken Preschool, located 30 km outside of Falun with a capacity of 6 departments.

Children experiencing development and learning in their daily lives. Staff demonstrating commitment, personal responsibility, and creativity. A preschool where we create a fun, safe, and educational environment! To facilitate the mission related to the curriculum, the educators at the preschool have developed an annual wheel with monthly sheets and current research, to ensure safety and quality for you as an educator in your work. We have a well-functioning systematic quality work and work environment efforts at the preschools. The close collaboration and knowledge exchange is seen as a strength for both staff and children as it increases goal fulfillment and a sense of community.

In the Svärdsjö area, three principals collaborate across 6 preschools and pedagogical care. In our operations, we ensure that in play, we mix creativity and creation with language, nature, mathematics, and technology together with the children. Together, we create a fun, safe, and educational experience. The principals and the area's special educator work together to strengthen the preschool's role and ensure that staff meet in networks to discuss quality and development, as well as to exchange experiences with each other. We focus on Empathy Pedagogy/promoting approaches, ICDP/guided interaction, clarifying pedagogy, and reading aloud.

Job Responsibilities

The focus of the assignment is that every child should receive what they need to reach as far as possible in their development in relation to all the goals in the preschool curriculum. As a preschool teacher, you also have a special responsibility and great opportunities to drive and develop the pedagogical work in collaboration with other educators at the preschool.

We are looking for an engaged and inspired person who is passionate about creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for children aged 1-6 years. Specifically, this occurs through: networks where we exchange knowledge and experiences, ICDP-guided interaction, promoting approaches, and preschool teacher meetings. We want you as an educator to focus on the children's interests and use this in your work, and to see the pedagogical environment as a tool in children's learning. Close collaboration with our guardians is also an important part of the operation.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Good computer skills and experience using computers as a work tool.
• Experience in pedagogical documentation as a tool for reflection with colleagues and children.
• Good knowledge in developing linguistic and mathematical skills with ages 1-6 years.
• Insight into promoting approaches/empathy pedagogy.
• A good ability to create an inspiring environment that promotes play and learning.
• Good knowledge and excellent ability to use literature to create a linguistically stimulating environment.

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date according to agreement.
