As an accountant, you will be responsible for the entire accounting flow - from ongoing bookkeeping and bank reconciliations to monthly and quarterly financial statements as well as annual reports. You will also handle income and VAT declarations and ensure that reporting and accounting are done according to applicable regulations in both Sweden and Norway. Furthermore, you will be responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable, customer invoicing, and payment of supplier invoices. You will also report payroll data to an external payroll consultant. The role also includes a close operational responsibility where you:

• Prepare sales statistics for the CEO
• Act as a support function within finance for both Martela Sweden and Martela Norway
• Provide some support to Martela Finland in contact with Swedish authorities

You will report to the Sales Director Sweden and CFO Finland and have a central role in the organization with many contacts, both locally and internationally. About you We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in accounting and who has been involved in financial closing work. You have a post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or equivalent, or you have acquired similar competence through work experience. You have experience in ongoing accounting, financial closing, and invoicing and feel comfortable with the various parts of the financial process. If you also have a basic understanding of payroll management and personnel costs, it is an advantage. As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a positive attitude towards new challenges. You thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, work independently, and at the same time be an active part of the organization. Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to more efficient working methods comes naturally to you. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. If you have experience in accounting in both Sweden and Norway, we see it as an advantage. Requirements for the position:

• Several years of qualified work in a similar position
