About your job
In this role, you will work practically with machines and processes that affect the product's properties. In close collaboration with production staff, technicians, and other engineers, you will contribute to improving methods, production flows, and product quality. You will participate in product development projects, and in the long run, there is also the opportunity to drive your own projects and participate in development and research projects.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting analyses of machines' impact on product quality and properties.
- Analyzing and optimizing process flows.
- Method and technology development.
- Participating in product development projects.
- Supporting production with technical problem-solving.
- Driving improvement projects that make a difference for the team and production.
Location and flexibility
The location for this role is in Gimo, with the possibility of remote work.
Your background and personality
We are looking for someone who understands the production environment's demands for quality, efficiency, and safety. Curiosity is your driving force – you enjoy exploring new solutions. Your flexibility and initiative enable you to tackle changes with energy and find ways forward. You are independent and take personal responsibility for ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently. Good collaboration is important to you, and you actively contribute to the team's common goals.
To succeed in this role, you need:
- A degree in mechanical engineering or technical physics, or another engineering degree in a related field.
- To communicate fluently in Swedish.
We consider it an advantage if you have experience in:
- Industrial production, especially where machines and processes affect product properties and quality.
- Machining, such as pressing or cutting machining.
- Production environments where quick adaptation to new technical challenges is required.
- Participation in or driving improvement projects within production or process technology.
- Close collaboration with other engineers and technicians to develop and streamline workflows.
- English in spoken and written form.
