About the position

Do you have a burning interest in the development of children and young people? Do you want to work in the school environment? We are now looking for substitutes who can step in on short notice to cover at our school and after-school care.

This may involve a few hours, but also full days and weeks to replace regular staff during sick leave, planned meetings and professional development, as well as during scheduled vacations. As a substitute, your tasks may vary, but your responsibilities include supporting the operations in various ways. This may involve teaching in school and after-school care or acting as a resource in classes and during breaks.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a responsible person with an interest in the development of children and young people. You easily adapt to new working methods and routines and have a value system and approach that is based on the belief that all children can succeed. You are a clear leader, have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and responsible.

It is an advantage if you are studying or have studied an educational program or have experience in educational work, but we will also consider other qualifications.

About the employment

As a substitute, you will be contacted by the school assistant in case of regular staff absence. This may involve calls/texts in the morning for work the same day, but also planned substitute opportunities.

When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to show a copy of your criminal record extract from the Police. The extract we request is “School or preschool” and you need to request the extract yourself, which you can find on the police website: Police website (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/?mtm_campaign=utdrag&mtm_kwd=post0623).

Once you have received your extract, you will then present it to the recruiting manager. Please note that the normal processing time at the police is about two weeks, so please order the extract when you apply for the position.
