HR Specialist Focused on Competence Development

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with addiction. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with addiction, across the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. At the head office in Solna Business Park, we are about 400 employees, and together we work to support and develop the authority with approximately 5000 employees.

Job Description

Do you want to drive competence development that makes a difference?

The section for competence development has national responsibility for SiS internal competence development. The section is led by a section manager and consists of four units with around 60 employees with various competencies.

We are now looking for an HR specialist focused on competence development to strengthen our work within the Unit for Competence Planning. The unit is responsible for the logistics surrounding the authority's training and competence development initiatives. Here, administrators and HR specialists work together to ensure that our initiatives are carried out efficiently and with high quality.

In this role, you will take responsibility and drive complex development and management assignments with high performance requirements. You will be the link between operations, administration, and trainers, and be responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency in our training initiatives. You will:

  • Be responsible for the authority's training, ensuring they are conducted according to plan and with high quality
  • Ensure quality through proactive work to identify areas for improvement, follow up on results, and ensure that our training meets the needs of the operations
  • Organize data collection in the follow-up work, analyze results, and compile them into relevant reports

You will operate in a context with many different issues and contact points both within and outside the section. You focus on your assignment and assist in other tasks within the section as needed. We are in an expansive development phase that involves both organizational development and a growing mandate. In this role, you will work in a changing environment where methods, content, and priorities may change in line with the needs of the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic degree
  • current experience working with authority or organization-wide competence development
  • current experience in designing, project managing, and implementing processes and routines in core operations
  • current experience working with statistics and data-driven initiatives
  • very good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious with:

  • experience in program operations and treatment work
  • experience in digitizing competence development

Employment:

The position is a fixed-term employment for up to 12 months. Start date by agreement. Placement at the head office in Solna.
