As a software development consultant, you will be part of the team at Avalon and work on technical assignments at customer sites. You will primarily work in R&D projects to develop solutions for industrial applications. You will collaborate with other teams, such as those in embedded software and hardware. This makes the role dynamic, and you will have the chance to work broadly. If you have an interest in embedded systems, you will find many technical challenges to sink your teeth into.

You will be part of a close-knit team in Västerås with many different interests and competencies. Working together with our customers is mixed with game nights, outdoor barbecues, wine tastings, and wonderful conferences with the entire company.

We are looking for someone who

• Is proactive, considerate, curious, and creative

• Has a university degree in computer science or a similar technical field

• Has at least 3 years of experience in software development within .NET and application development for industrial applications

• Has good knowledge of C#, .NET, and WPF (it is a plus if you also have knowledge of real-time systems and C/C++)

• Experience in robotics is a plus

• Has a valid driver's license (B)

• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English
