Your Role

Do you want to take the next step in your career and develop as a project manager in technically advanced projects? We are now looking for a junior project manager for our project office in Arboga. In this role, you will be involved in driving projects related to the development of maintenance capabilities within test and maintenance systems for airborne electronics, primarily for Gripen and AEW.

As a junior project manager, you will have overall responsibility for smaller projects or sub-projects, while receiving support from experienced colleagues within the project office. You will help plan, drive, and follow up on project activities to ensure timely delivery within budget. The role gives you the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility as you grow into the assignment.

You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, taking on an important coordinating role where you create structure, clarity, and progress. A central part of the work is to identify risks and challenges at an early stage and contribute with solutions to keep the projects on track. Here you will have the opportunity to combine your technical interest with your desire to develop in project management in a complex and exciting environment.

The position is based in Arboga, but travel both domestically and internationally may occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career in project management or who has worked for a few years in a role with coordination responsibility, such as sub-project manager, technical coordinator, or team leader. You have a strong desire to develop as a project manager and are motivated by taking responsibility and driving work forward.

As a person, you are structured, engaged, and solution-oriented. You thrive in working towards goals and have the ability to create order and clarity even when circumstances change. You are curious, analytical, and willing to ask questions to understand the whole picture. At the same time, you have an unpretentious attitude and appreciate working closely with others.

You are communicative and find it easy to build trust in various contact areas. Taking initiative comes naturally to you, but you also see the value in being part of a cross-functional team where everyone supports and develops each other. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and development potential.

In addition to the above, we see that you have:

• Some form of experience in project management, coordination, or a leadership role
• Education from a university or college with a technical focus, or equivalent experience
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A strong technical interest and a desire to continuously learn new things

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
