Junior System Engineer in Radio and Network

Combitech in Arboga is now looking for a junior system engineer who wants to contribute to the development and integration of robust and secure systems in the defense sector. Your role as a junior system engineer in radio and network

As a junior system engineer in radio and network, you will work with the design, integration, and further development of communication systems within air traffic in our delivery projects for the defense. You will be involved throughout the system lifecycle - from requirements analysis and architecture to implementation, testing, and commissioning.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with customers, project managers, and other technical specialists. Travel of varying lengths is included in the position - for example, to customer facilities or to suppliers.

With us, you will be part of a team of about 40 employees with diverse expertise - from junior engineers to senior specialists. We have a strong culture of knowledge sharing and technical experience exchange, where you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills and develop both technically and professionally.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career, is technically driven, structured, and has a genuine interest in communication and network technology. It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in networking, radio, information and communication technology, or another relevant field.

You have a professional attitude, good collaborative skills, and understand the importance of quality, security, and delivery precision in assignments to customers. You have the ability to create engagement in your surroundings and communicate clearly and confidently in both speech and writing. You thrive in environments with high demands and work just as effectively independently as in a team.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in configuring network components. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English. A B driver's license is required. It is an advantage if you have certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, and have experience working in the defense industry.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security screening with a background check.
