About
The Communication and Engagement section is responsible for planning, production, development, and follow-up of the Armed Forces' central external and internal channels. This also includes the joint editorial planning of the Armed Forces as an important part.
In addition, the section is also responsible for the department's deliveries within marketing and relationship communication for attractive and recruiting purposes. This includes campaigns, events, CRM, and candidate support.
About the role
As a digital communicator, you will be responsible for planning, producing, and publishing content in the Armed Forces' central channels, both internally and externally. The role includes working with editorial planning and content production, as well as ensuring that publication occurs according to the established editorial plan.
You are part of the editorial team and work in an event-driven operation through a shared desk function. Within the editorial team, you collaborate to plan and distribute content and identify news opportunities based on current events in the world and your own organization. You are responsible for ensuring that the content produced is both audience-adapted and reflects strategic choices and messages, as well as adhering to guidelines for language, images, and tone.
The role also includes developing communication plans and managing smaller communication projects. You participate in project groups within the department and contribute communication expertise to various development initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Current and relevant experience in similar tasks as a communicator within a larger complex organization with many points of contact
- A relevant post-secondary education for the position
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish in both speech and writing
- Good knowledge of Optimizely or similar CMS
- Good knowledge of image formatting

You have an easy time creating and developing good relationships and the ability to lead and drive projects from idea to implementation. You quickly grasp complex issues and transform them into clear, accessible, and well-formulated texts and content. The work takes place in an event-driven operation with short lead times, which requires the ability to quickly prioritize and adapt work to changing conditions. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Meritorious
- Experience in leading and distributing work in communication projects or from editorial planning
- Current experience of working in an event-driven operation
- Experience in ordering assignments from an agency
Other
The position is civilian and is located at the Headquarters in Stockholm. As an employee of the Armed Forces, participation in exercises, readiness duty, and involvement in national and international missions may be required.
Work location: Stockholm
Start date: By agreement
Employment form: Permanent full-time employment starting with a 6-month probationary period for applicants who are not currently employed by the Armed Forces.
Tests may be conducted during the recruitment process.
