Avtalat is in an intensive and developing phase where we will merge with Collectum and Fora in 2026, with a shared vision to make collectively agreed pensions and insurance the obvious choice for employers and employees in the private sector. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of developing Avtalat and contribute to creating value for our nearly five million customers.

Avtalat is now seeking a Controller Manager who wants to combine analysis, leadership, and business understanding in an environment where change, care, and professionalism go hand in hand.

We offer you the opportunity to be part of a unique and exciting journey in an organization where customer focus, collaboration, and a strong common drive are at the center. At Avtalat, everyday life is characterized by an open climate, high competence, and a shared desire to achieve success together.

“We are facing a unique opportunity to build something really good from the ground up – new processes, new ways of working, and a more unified governance. Here, controlling makes a real difference for our entire operation,” says Charlotte Anderén Fornander, Head of Finance.

About the role

As Controller Manager, you will have overall responsibility for driving operational and financial management for Avtalat. You will lead a team of 6–7 controllers and split your time between operational work and leadership.

You will work closely with the business, IT, and the finance function, driving processes for monitoring results, budgets, forecasts, and operational planning. Pricing, product profitability, and cost allocation models, as well as monitoring development activities, are also part of your daily routine. You will also be responsible for board and management reporting.

You enjoy working closely with numbers and the business, but even more, you enjoy helping others understand them. You appreciate structure, analysis, and you are skilled at visualizing various issues. You don’t need to be someone who wants to be in the spotlight; what matters more is that you take responsibility, create clarity, and deliver well-founded analyses that support decision-making.

We believe you have

  • 5–10 years of experience as a manager, likely as a Controller Manager or in a similar role.
  • Very good analytical skills and confidence in creating models, following up financial results, and explaining complex relationships.
  • Experience working in fast-paced organizations with change and many points of contact.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

The position is full-time with flexible working hours, and Avtalat offers excellent employee benefits and collective agreements (of course!). As if that weren't enough, you will be based in our new centrally located office in Stockholm, where the move will take place in March 2026.

You can read more about Avtalat here: https://www.avtalat.se/ (https://www.avtalat.se/)
