Information Controller at IMY

IMY is in an exciting phase of development and is growing with our important mission. We are now recruiting an experienced information controller to the Administrative Unit. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic organization with an important mission that affects all citizens in our society.

Job Responsibilities

As an information controller at IMY, you play a central role in the authority's case management. You will work with a variety of tasks in the area. You will have an established collaboration with other functions in your work, such as the authority's archival function, legal advisors, and staff in the operational units. As an information controller, you will have outward-facing work with external contacts such as individuals, companies, organizations, journalists, and other authorities that contact IMY via the authority's phone and email.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Handling email in the authority's mailbox
  • Responding to phone inquiries
  • Handling registered mail
  • Record-keeping of digital and administrative matters
  • Disclosure of public documents
  • Some archiving
  • Other tasks occurring in the registry

You will belong to the administrative unit and will be part of a team with other information controllers who together plan the work.

The authority is in an expansive phase, and the operations are characterized by strong development. This means that new demands will be placed on our administrative routines and our information controller function. We work with continuous improvements and the development of our work routines and collaborative forms with the rest of the organization, and you are expected to contribute to our development journey.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with registrar training or equivalent work experience that corresponds to similar competence. You have several years of experience in a similar role in public operations and have worked with similar tasks. You have good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing public operations. You have excellent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are a proficient computer user who works effortlessly with the Office suite.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with the case management system Platina or an equivalent system.

As a person, you are development-oriented, responsive, and accommodating, and you have experience of successful collaboration in a group. These are important prerequisites for succeeding in the role. You have a pronounced sense of service and thrive in a role with a lot of variation in both pace and workload. You are responsible and meticulous, yet flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. You have the ability to prioritize and redistribute your tasks both with your colleagues and independently, depending on how the workday and the group's conditions look.

You drive your work forward with great commitment and can organize and carry out your work effectively even under high pressure and changing circumstances. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with your colleagues. You are results-oriented, achieve set goals, and maintain timelines with good quality in your results.

The Position

The employment is a permanent full-time position. IMY applies a six-month probationary period. The work is based in our pleasant activity-based premises centrally located in Stockholm, with the possibility of individual agreements regarding remote work.

The position is classified in a security class, which means that Swedish citizenship is required for this position. A security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
