In the unit for environmental vehicles and sustainable transport, we are eight experts in the field of environmental vehicles, renewable fuels, mobility, and procurement. We work to increase the share of environmental vehicles, improve the infrastructure for renewable fuels, and influence organizations and companies. Additionally, we collaborate with Swedish municipalities and European cities.

Your role

In the role of administrator for sustainable transport, your main tasks will include:

• supporting procurement officers in the city's administrations and companies in setting environmental requirements for various vehicles and fuels during procurements of services and contracts
• supporting contract managers in monitoring that suppliers comply with contract requirements for vehicles and fuels
• answering questions from procurement officers, contract managers, and suppliers about environmental vehicles and renewable fuels as well as charging infrastructure
• monitoring developments and gathering knowledge about fossil-free and zero-emission heavy vehicles and construction machinery
• keeping updated on new technologies, legislation, and best practices so that the city's environmental requirements for vehicles and fuels can be adapted as the industry develops
• building and maintaining networks with key stakeholders such as industry organizations and experts in the field
• sharing experiences with Swedish municipalities and within the EU.

You will report to the unit manager.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• a bachelor's degree in engineering, social sciences, or natural sciences
• experience working with fossil-free and/or zero-emission fuels, vehicles, and construction machinery
• managed projects
• good digital skills and experience working with the Office suite and Outlook
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you have worked with:

• procurement according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) or the Procurement Act for Supply Sectors (LUF), or alternatively knowledge through education
• electric vehicles, electric machinery, and charging infrastructure
• public sector work.
