Job Description

The assignment focuses on work with the rights of data subjects to access (i.e., data extracts) according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that individuals, usually customers, have the right to request information about how an organization processes their personal data and, if so, gain access to it, typically by receiving a copy of the data.

The work includes, among other things:

• Investigation, mapping, and collection of personal data from the organization's systems and services based on the individual's relationship, history, and interaction with the organization.
• Assessment of whether certain data should not be disclosed, for example, if the data does not constitute the data subject's personal data or if exceptions under applicable regulations mean that the data cannot or need not be disclosed. Support from colleagues in the team is provided as needed in this assessment.
• Masking of information that should not be disclosed to the data subject.
• Preparation of responses to the data subject. Here, too, support can be obtained from colleagues in the team.

The work also includes contributing to the development and improvement of work processes, for example, by creating procedure descriptions and templates.

The work takes place within the organization's function for privacy and data protection issues, responsible for handling personal data-related matters and compliance with applicable data protection legislation.

Requirements and Desired Competence

• Structured, meticulous, and responsible working method with the ability to work independently and drive tasks forward.
• Good business and operational understanding.
• Experience working with systems and IT environments.
• Interest in privacy and data protection issues.
