Accounting Economist for Growing Greentech Company

We are now looking for an accounting economist for a growing manufacturing company in the greentech and energy sector. Here you will have a central role in a small and dedicated finance department where you work closely with the CFO and contribute to the development of both processes and working methods.

About the Role

In the role of accounting economist, you will work broadly with the company's accounting and become an important part of the finance function. You will be responsible for ongoing accounting and work particularly closely with the business on issues related to inventory, purchasing, and product flows.

The finance department currently consists of an accounting economist and a CFO, which means you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence working methods and processes.

You will work both operationally and developmentally, with good opportunities to grow in the role over time.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
Accounts receivable and payable
VAT and tax declarations
Work with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reporting to the CFO and supporting the rest of the organization
Improving routines and processes within accounting and administration

What Can You Offer?

We believe you have a relevant education in finance and about 3–5 years of experience working with accounting. You have a good understanding of the entire accounting flow and feel comfortable working with ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

If you have experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods, and item flows, it is a plus, especially since the role involves close collaboration with the business on purchasing and product flows. It is also an advantage if you have worked with business systems like Business Central or Navision.

Experience from a manufacturing company, preferably in technology or hardware, is also meritorious. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.
