The goal of gender equality work in Sweden is for women and men to have the same power and opportunities to shape society and their own lives. The work includes issues related to influence, economy, health, education, work, and bodily integrity.
The Gender Equality Agency shall ensure that the government's gender equality policy is implemented effectively by contributing to the efficient execution of gender equality policies. - Good administrative skills.
- Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
- Good digital competence, including work in Microsoft Office 365.
- Basic knowledge of the area of honor-related violence and oppression, its target groups, and preventive work.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in the public sector, preferably within a government agency with assignments related to violence, oppression, or protection of vulnerable groups.
- Experience in case management or authority exercise in matters related to violence and vulnerability, for example within social services, LSS, healthcare, police, or schools.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals at the local level, for example in social services, schools, recreational activities, sports movements, or civil society.
- Knowledge of violence against children and youth, men's violence against women, violence in close relationships, or other related areas.
- Good knowledge of Swedish gender equality policy.
- Language skills in a language other than Swedish and English.
Meritorious means that it is an advantage if you meet the following requirements, but they are not mandatory to be considered for the position.
