Aggerud School is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. We have about 410 students at the school, and we work collaboratively to develop teaching in our classrooms and after-school care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a resource person, you have a very important role in the students' well-being throughout the school day. You are there to support during breaks and various study situations, as well as a guide and supplementary adult support at the school.

You will primarily work with the team in grade 4 and the school's resource team. Your main task will be to take responsibility for one or more students. Together with teachers, you will work for an accessible learning environment that takes advantage of the student's/students' curiosity, motivation, and interests. You will ensure that the student/students have the opportunity to participate in all school activities based on their circumstances.

We work with a solution-focused approach and a low-arousal response where relationship-building is of great importance. The starting point for your work is a belief that everyone can succeed and that students are given the opportunity to grow, develop, and strengthen their self-esteem.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a teacher, leisure leader, childcare worker, or person with other educational training.

You are an engaged, clear, responsible, and secure leader for the students, and your approach to the assignment should be solution-oriented. By using curiosity and creativity, you find good solutions to challenges that may arise.

You have an easy time building good relationships and keeping the student’s/students' best interests in focus by supporting, stimulating, motivating, and providing the care the student/students need. We are looking for someone who can work both independently and collaboratively with others. You take great responsibility for the entire assignment.

Meritorious:

• previous experience as a resource/student assistant
• experience in similar work and with children/students with NPF is an advantage.
• knowledge and experience in primary school grades F-6. We are looking for someone with a completed post-secondary education, such as a leisure leader.
