About the position

We are looking for more preschool teachers for our municipality who can continue to work actively with our educational mission. The preschools we are currently seeking to fill are Lysmasken and Hagabacken.

Our preschools all have their unique charm but also different conditions and challenges to work with. Everything from the smaller preschool in the village to the preschool characterized by multiculturalism. What is common, however, is that we work strongly to offer an equal preschool for all children in the municipality, which we do by working together. Our vision is: Together; with joy, safety, and knowledge for equality.

To continuously develop our operations, we have regular pedagogical meetings and a solid long-term training plan in areas such as language, quality work, ICDP, mathematics, aesthetics, crisis, and threats and violence. You will have individual and joint planning time in your work team amounting to 6 hours/week. We offer all new employees an ICDP guidance group and support from a mentor in the professional role. We have good access to special education teachers directed towards preschool, and the preschool has its own health teams. Through the municipality's health-promoting work, you have access to various health-oriented activities and are offered exercise hours or exercise funds.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work at one of our preschools in a pleasant environment where respect, responsiveness, and joy of discovery prevail. We focus on creating a good learning environment both indoors and outdoors. We have an education where we place great emphasis on children's learning processes and parental cooperation. Our approach is based on ICDP (Guiding Interaction).

The work involves, together with other preschool teachers, being responsible for education and teaching based on the curriculum and the individual child's and group's needs. You work with systematic quality work by continuously documenting, following up, and evaluating the education. You conduct development discussions and collaborate with guardians. For those interested in taking on extended responsibilities, there may be opportunities for roles as development leaders. We also have municipal common groups that conduct development work based on needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher. Those studying to become preschool teachers are also welcome to apply. We believe that you, as a person, want to contribute to the continued development of our preschool and have a strong commitment to the profession. You easily create good relationships and have strong communication skills. It is important for us that you collaborate well in a group and are flexible as the work is varied.
