Sandvik School is located in the eastern part of Karlskoga and is a F-6 school consisting of two classes in each grade. We have three after-school care departments at the school. In grades 2-6, three teachers work (team teaching) across two classes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a woodwork teacher at Sandvik School, you create good conditions for teaching and leading students in their knowledge development and goal fulfillment. With teaching that puts students at the center, you drive and develop the instruction together with your students. Through your engagement and good knowledge of the subject, you create interesting lessons where students can develop in the best possible way.
Your work as a teacher is based on creating accessible learning environments, physical, pedagogical, and social. You collaborate closely with teaching colleagues, work independently, and drive school development.
Your responsibilities include:
- planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the subjects you are responsible for
- analyzing teaching and results
- contact with guardians
- collaboration with the student health team, school management, and external parties
- school-wide value-based work
- teamwork
- working and documenting in the operational systems available
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach woodwork and metalwork for grades 3-6.
You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning and your teaching structure effectively to achieve desired results.
To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operation requires in writing.
If you have experience working as a teacher after graduation, language development methods, or Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
