About the Position

We are currently seeking a preschool teacher for Linden Preschool. With us, you will be part of an organization with dedicated and experienced educators who are passionate about giving children the best possible start in education and lifelong learning. Vivalla is a multicultural area where you will have the opportunity to meet children and guardians from various cultural backgrounds. We work from a language and knowledge development approach, focusing on strengthening children's communication, language development, and self-esteem through joyful learning. Our goal is for every child to develop respect and understanding for the equal worth of all people, a belief in their own future, and a commitment to their environment. We work based on guiding interactions (ICDP) and build on each child's strengths and interests while encouraging their development. In this position, you will have access to digital tools and work clothes for both indoor and outdoor use. All preschool teachers have scheduled reflection time with the team and scheduled individual professional development time.

About the Workplace

Linden is a newly built preschool located near Vivalla School in beautiful surroundings. The preschool opened during the autumn break HT24, when two smaller preschools moved into this larger facility. The preschool has five departments, two for younger children on the ground floor and three for older children on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is a dining room where we eat the food prepared by our own chef. There are ample staff facilities on the upper floor for both breaks and work.

Qualifications

As a person, you are secure and engaged in your role, able to see the whole picture and adapt to needs and situations. You have a good understanding of how children absorb knowledge and can adjust your way of conveying messages based on children's varying conditions. To achieve the preschool's goals, we expect you to be driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a solution-focused approach. Additionally, you find it easy to collaborate and create participation and engagement among those around you, and you are motivated to work in a team and process together with other staff at the preschool. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with children, relatives, and other staff, and can document what the operation requires in writing. As the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required.
