About the Position

You will teach music in grades 1-6 and be an important person during holidays and school graduations, where musical student performances take place. Depending on subject qualifications and working hours, teaching in another subject and/or mentoring in grades 4-6 may be relevant. You will be part of a work team where collaboration on teaching and student health work takes place, aiming for students to feel good and achieve high goal fulfillment. Collaboration with the school's student health and other supportive professionals is a natural part of the work.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• plan, implement, evaluate, and develop your teaching independently and together with colleagues
• create a good learning environment
• build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• support students' social development
• work with the teams on individual and group student health work, aiming to develop students' goal fulfillment and promote well-being
• participate and contribute in various collegial meetings

Hovstaskolan is one of Örebro Municipality's largest F-6 schools with over 400 students and about 60 staff. Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions. We emphasize a good approach from a relational perspective and clear leadership in the classroom. As a teacher, it is also important that you have good collaboration skills where you listen and communicate, contributing to a calm and safe school environment. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teacher certification with qualifications to teach music for grades 1-6, or an equivalent qualifying degree that entitles you to certification

Meritorious:

• qualification to teach in another subject
• experience working with students in need of support

Scope and Start Date

Employment type: permanent position

Employment rate: 80-100%

Start date: March 20 or by agreement
