Sydnärkes Education Association is a municipal association located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned education. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. In addition, we also conduct adult education at Allévux.

We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of which 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an engaged and competent special educator to Alléskolan who wants to work in upper secondary school and contribute to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. With us, you will become an important part of the school's student health work and pedagogical development.

As a special educator at Alléskolan, your main task is to ensure that all students reach their full potential. You will primarily work with the programs in construction and civil engineering as well as electrical and energy, but teaching in other programs may also occur. We would like you to have experience and broad knowledge in both mathematics and language development, preferably from both primary and secondary school.

You will work closely with students, teaching teachers, mentors, and as part of the student health team to support our students. The work takes place at both individual and group levels and includes both pedagogical and organizational efforts.

The tasks may include, among other things:

• teaching at both individual and group levels
• conducting pedagogical assessments and evaluations
• planning and implementing interventions for students together with a special educator
• supporting teachers in their work with extra adaptations and special support
• participating in the student health team's work and in the school's systematic quality work
• contributing to the development of inclusive learning environments
• participating in the establishment, implementation, and follow-up of action plans

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• licensed teacher with a special education degree
• good knowledge of the upper secondary school's governing documents

It is advantageous if you have:

• special education degree with a focus on mathematics or language, writing, and reading development
• experience working with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF)
• experience working as a special educator
• experience working in upper secondary and/or primary school

Personal qualities:

• You have a relational, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• You are flexible and easy to collaborate with.
• You have the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.
• You easily create good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, work teams, the school's student health team, and school management.
• You have the ability to create a safe, respectful, and trusting working environment in the classroom.
