Welcome to Ekbackens School
Ekbackens School is a F-6 school with after-school care and youth center. The school has pleasant learning environments and nature is right around the corner. Currently, about 180 students attend the school, and approximately 25 staff members work here. Ekbackens School is located in Fellingsbro, a small community about 30 kilometers outside of Örebro. Nearby the school, there are playgrounds, an ice rink, a swimming pool for summer bathing, and exercise trails. JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is a temporary substitute for a teacher who will be on parental leave. Together with the current mentor, you will also be a mentor in grade 5 and share the responsibility for teaching. Currently, the position involves being responsible for teaching social studies in grade 5, English in grade 5, and language choice in Spanish in grade 6.
Your main tasks will be to plan and conduct teaching as well as document and follow up on students' results. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop and make a difference every day. Here, you will be part of the 4-6 work team and have close collaboration with other teachers. The work team includes experienced colleagues. As a teacher, you will collaborate with the student health team at the school, which is present on certain days of the week. Here at Ekbackens School, we also have a well-functioning safety team. QUALIFICATIONS
- You are a certified primary school teacher or have completed your education and are awaiting certification.
- You have a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and are well acquainted with LGR 22.
- In the classroom, you are a clear leader who creates a good learning environment with structure and warmth.
- You have a good ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
- You are a person with great flexibility and a strong commitment to working with middle school students.
- You work systematically to make teaching and the learning environment accessible to all students.
- You promote collegial learning through discussion and reflection.

Scope: Full-time or as agreed
