Administrator for the Digitalization and IT Unit at the Swedish Food Agency

Your Role

As an administrator, you have a central role and many contacts both internally and externally. The work is varied, but your main tasks are:

• Support and management of documents related to contracts and agreements
• Handling of documents, diaries, and archiving
• Updating information on the unit's pages on the intranet
• Ongoing operational administrative work
• Mail and communication of documents
• In some cases, basic financial administration and budget issues
• Meeting management, support for booking premises and conferences
• Support and coordination in our administrative systems
• Assist in the development of routines within the unit

The Digitalization and IT Unit

In the Digitalization and IT unit, we work with business development and digitalization by leading, developing, and managing our IT systems as well as ensuring operation and support.

The unit currently consists of about 50 employees and consultants and is organized into three teams: Development, Management and Projects, and Operations and Support.

In this role, you will support both the unit manager and team leaders in administrative matters. The position also includes supporting another unit MS/US with administrative support to the unit manager.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and preferably additional higher education in administration or economics. You have several years of relevant experience in qualified administrative work in recent times and experience in administrative work at a government agency. Your computer skills are very good, and you have excellent knowledge of the Office suite. You also have good communication skills to express yourself clearly and concisely in both spoken and written Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of Public 360 and experience in basic IT support, such as handling equipment and technology in conference rooms. It is also advantageous if you have experience in creating user instructions, contract management, and contract follow-up. Since the position involves updating routines and information, knowledge of the software Infocaption is additionally advantageous.
