Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for two family therapists for the home-based family treatment group. We work with families with children aged 0-12 years who have complex psychosocial issues affecting the interaction and attachment between children and parents.

The work primarily takes place in the home or in the child's immediate environment and together with other important actors for the family. The goal is a safe and positive relationship between parents and children. The treatment effort can vary in intensity, and the therapists are flexible in where and when they meet the family.

The family treatment may include one or more of the following:

• Parent/family conversations
• Practical support
• Interaction treatment (e.g., Marte Meo)
• Trauma treatment (CPP and TF-CBT)
• Parent education (e.g., COS)
• Network work

We maintain close contact with a few families at a time, often over a longer period. We work systemically and trauma-informed, focusing on secure attachment and the family's and network's resources. By working in the home, children are seen and more involved. There is a need for great flexibility according to the family's needs, both regarding times and availability. This may also involve working outside of office hours.

Family treatment can be carried out independently or in pairs. Always in close collaboration with colleagues, coordinators, and supervisors, with great freedom to manage your assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in family treatment, preferably focusing on families with children aged 0-12 years. You have experience working with families with severe psychosocial issues and are used to working closely with other actors. If you have further training in relevant methods (e.g., Marte Meo, COS, PYC, CPP, TF-CBT) in the field of children and families, this is an advantage.

To thrive in the role of family therapist with us, you need to be flexible, both regarding the content of the work and working hours. The work requires you to be attentive to the needs and wishes of the families you work with, as well as being able to quickly adjust and adapt to the environment and situation. We also see that you as a person are proactive, persistent, and used to planning, prioritizing, and driving your work independently and together with your colleagues. You are confident in your work role and have the ability to maintain focus and act even in difficult situations.

You will be part of a group of experienced, creative, and curious family therapists who strive to deepen and develop the shared treatment work. The group is characterized by a strong commitment and a supportive, positive, and learning climate.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and if you know any other languages, that is an advantage.

About the Workplace

The area of operation for Individuals and Families is divided into two departments with different missions and focus areas. These areas are Intervention and Investigation. The section "Home-Based Family Treatment" under the Intervention department is now looking for a new family therapist. After the recruitment, the section will consist of 11 family therapists, one collaboration coordinator, one coordinator, and one section manager.
