JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a social worker for the authority, investigating children and youth. We have chosen to organize ourselves so that we have one unit that works with investigations and another unit that works with follow-up of granted interventions. In the unit investigating children and youth, we have 3 teams with about 5-6 social workers in each team. We have invested in close management, and each team has access to a social worker with extended responsibility who leads and supports in the operational work and in discussions regarding cases. There is high competence in the daily managerial work, ensuring that the unit maintains a high level of legal quality. Each unit is led by a unit manager who has personnel, budget, and work environment responsibilities.
Our target group includes children and young people aged 0-21 years and their parents. You will also be offered wellness benefits and 24 extra flexible hours each year that you can use when the business allows.
QUALIFICATIONS
A requirement for the position is that you have a degree in social work and that you have a driver's license and can drive a car.
Regular documentation is part of your job responsibilities, which requires you to master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as have good computer skills.
It is advantageous if you have experience in authority work within children and youth with training in and experience of BBiC and Lifecare and knowledge of domestic violence and honor-related violence and oppression.
It is also advantageous if you have training in Signs of Safety and MI.
To succeed and thrive in the role of social worker, you need to be comfortable working both independently and in a team and be able to structure and prioritize your tasks based on applicable legislation and the current situation.
Within social services, we meet the most vulnerable in society, so a fundamental prerequisite for success in this work is that you, as a person, are empathetic, clear, and communicative. You should be calm and composed, even in stressful and urgent situations, and choose your battles wisely by listening, communicating, and constructively finding solutions.
Another prerequisite is collaboration with others, both internally and externally, to achieve set goals together.
