Summer Substitute within Functional Support in Lomma Municipality

We within the department for functional support in Lomma Municipality work based on each individual's needs and use proven methods and approaches within our LSS operations. With us, you work in close proximity to Malmö and Lund. You can take the train to Lomma station in about 8 minutes from Malmö C and by bus in about 18 minutes from Lund C. Our workplaces are characterized by joy, commitment, and a constant search for better methods to ensure our users good living conditions.

You will have the opportunity to work with both children and young people as well as adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In a group and service home, we provide support to adults who need supervision and care. The group home consists of a smaller number of apartments gathered around common areas. The staff covers the user's entire support needs, including leisure and cultural interests. The service home is designed so that the apartments are not directly connected to common areas, and the residents' needs are less than those who live in a group home. The operations are staffed around the clock.

In daily activities, we support adults to have meaningful employment, a place where users go to work. This operation is open weekdays during the day.

In short-term supervision and short-term stays, children and young people come to have the opportunity for a change of environment and recreation and to provide relief for relatives. We have children and young people who are there during the day but also those who stay overnight. The operation is open day, evening, and night.

Care tasks are included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and has a high school education. (It is an advantage if you have studied nursing programs, child and leisure studies, or similar.) You may be studying social work (social worker, social pedagogical work in the disability field, support pedagogue, behavioral scientist, etc.) and want to try the practical side; then you are welcome to apply to us. If you are curious about trying to work in LSS operations but have a background in adapted primary/high school or similar, you are also welcome to apply to us.

You must be computer literate and able to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing.

If you have a B driver's license, it is an advantage.

OTHER

Working hours vary depending on placement. Day, evening, night, weekend, and on-call duty.
