Job Responsibilities

We are now looking to welcome new support pedagogues to our LSS residence on Mölledalsgatan. As a support pedagogue, you will develop and implement pedagogical approaches and methods within the operation. The work should promote independence, participation, and be carried out with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination.

We work in teams around the users, and as a support pedagogue with us, you will be the team leader for one of two teams. This involves planning and holding team meetings. You also have increased responsibility for following up implementation plans and writing action plans and job descriptions for the users belonging to your team. You collaborate with care pedagogues and other colleagues to enhance the pedagogical approach that supports each individual user.

Responsibilities include building relationships, supporting, mentoring, and assisting users in all daily situations. All support measures are carried out in accordance with LSS legislation and Malmö City's values. Care work is included in the job.

The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education comprising at least 200 vocational college credits (YH) or 60 university credits. The education should have a clear focus on the disability area and/or the behavioral science area. You have at least one year of experience within an LSS operation and have good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction.

You have good computer skills and express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

As a support pedagogue with us, you need to have good self-awareness, pedagogical ability, and professional maturity. You find it easy to inspire others in a humble way, and you are clear and structured.

Mölledalsgatan is an LSS residence where seven users live. The staff group consists of care pedagogues, support pedagogues, and support assistants.
