We are now expanding our team and looking for a family therapist for the Individual and Family Care.

Mission

As a family therapist in Svedala municipality, you will belong to the family team, which currently consists of eight family therapists and three social counselors. A team characterized by good cohesion and strong collegial support. There is a great interest in thinking innovatively and a willingness to constantly develop. We have an open and inclusive atmosphere. You will encounter a workplace with high professionalism and competence where we together contribute to a positive atmosphere with humor, joy, and close collaboration. Here, we help each other and exchange thoughts and ideas to continuously develop both ourselves and the organization.

As a family therapist, you will work with both non-assistance cases and assistance cases for children and young people aged 0-20 years and their families. In your role as a family therapist, you will work with family behavior patterns and relationships to ultimately ensure the home environment and living conditions of children and young people. The work involves close collaboration with social workers and other important contacts surrounding the child/youth/family.

The family team has a salutogenic perspective where we work from a systemic approach and qualified psychosocial change work. With us, you will be offered individually tailored professional development with both internal and external supervision. We use assessments and filming as part of our treatment work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent. Furthermore, you have experience in qualified treatment work. Training in step 1 is an advantage. You also have experience working within municipal social services and possess knowledge of the legislation governing social services work.

To succeed in this role, you should be flexible and creative. You easily create alliances and see the strengths in treatment work. Your positive attitude will be beneficial both in client work and with colleagues. You collaborate easily but also enjoy working independently and take significant personal responsibility.

As a person, you are secure in yourself and your profession while contributing with great commitment. You are curious about how people function in different situations and can convey knowledge about relationships, behaviors, and parenting strategies in a pedagogical manner.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are accustomed to documentation.

A valid driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent full-time employment. Start date by agreement.

The work primarily takes place during the day, but there may also be meetings after office hours based on the needs and situations of the families.
