We are looking for a senior software developer with technical leadership to help develop a new government e-identification – a reliable digital identity at the highest level of trust for Swedish citizens. You will be part of an agile development team where you contribute both through hands-on development and by driving technical decisions that ensure the solutions are scalable, robust, and secure.

The assignment covers the entire lifecycle – from development and further development to management, troubleshooting, and bug fixing. You will work closely with the business and translate requirements into quality-assured code while supporting the team in technical decisions and improvement work.

• Develop, further develop, and manage systems that create business value.
• Realize business requirements through design and implementation in Java.
• Drive technical analyses, propose solutions, and contribute to technical decisions.
• Support and coach developers and contribute to effective teamwork.
• Quality assure deliveries and work on continuous improvements of systems and codebase in the short and long term.
• Set up and work with system environments in Linux.
• Work with microservices architecture, container solutions, and automated deployment platforms.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and weekly check-ins.

• At least 9 years of documented experience as a software developer in Java.
• At least 3 years of documented experience in technical leadership, in roles such as Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or equivalent (experience must have been gained in the last 6 years).
• At least 7 years of documented experience working on Linux platforms (preferably with experience in Spring Boot and related frameworks).
• At least 2 years of experience in microservices architecture and container-based environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Education in computer science or equivalent acquired experience assessed as equivalent.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

• Documented experience in software development within the public sector.
• Experience implementing security solutions based on OIDC/OAuth2.
• Experience with CI/CD on Jenkins and tools/platforms such as Bitbucket, Nexus, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps, and Maven.
