RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two skilled mathematics teachers who are eager to provide every student with the best conditions for success. You will be part of a team with other subject teachers responsible for teaching grades 7-9. In the team, there is a senior mentor responsible for driving student health work.

You will not have a mentorship role, thus allowing you good conditions to focus on your core mission of planning, implementing, and evaluating your own teaching. We have a mathematics developer who is responsible for leading the subject team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• licensed teacher with qualifications in mathematics, grades 7-9
• good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
• good ability to use digital tools to support your work, e.g., Word, Outlook, Teams.

Previous experience teaching in primary school is considered an asset.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on them. As a person, you are structured, responsible, clear, and confident in your leadership. You build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning, and based on students' results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate to develop the teaching.

In accordance with the law on licensing requirements (SFS 2014:458), teachers without a license cannot receive permanent employment. Therefore, teachers without a license are offered a fixed-term employment until they can present their license.
