We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping.

Omega is a moderately sized secondary school with 430 fantastic students. We have a high qualification rate and high teacher density. We have a competent student health team and team mentors who work with students' social needs and serve as the link between home and school. We have specialized classrooms in all subjects and a staffed school library. We have home economics in small classes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Nyköping Municipality is looking for teachers who want to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. We work according to the school's curriculum and use digital tools in our pedagogical documentation. Our activities are permeated by a salutogenic approach, and we have a strong belief in students' abilities. The role of the teacher includes planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching. You will evaluate and develop the pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the needs and interests of the students, both individually and together with the team.

You will be part of a team where you are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and results-oriented approach. You will work together in a team with teaching colleagues.

The position involves teaching home economics at Omega secondary school for grades 7-9.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a clear subject-competent leader who is good at building relationships with students and colleagues. Your teaching is language-developing and structured to support our youth in becoming democratic citizens.
