We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for a primary teacher F-3 for Svalsta School.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations encompass 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, deputy principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the Principal Area

The Kiladalens school area has about 450 students in F-6 and includes the school buildings in Svalsta, Bergshammar, Jönåker, and Ålberga. Approximately 80 people work in the area. The schools are located along the old E4 outside Nyköping, close to forests and meadows, and all classrooms have smartboards. Each school has access to school forests and school libraries. Safety teams, counselors, and school nurses are regularly present.

We consciously work with the division's school development plan focusing on collegial learning and natural leadership, regardless of function in the organization. For us, it is important that you who apply are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can translate these into action. Since we are based on collegial learning and collaboration, it is significant that you both share your competence and experience and are curious about your colleagues'. This is how we learn together and also capture our students' curiosity and desire to learn! The municipality uses Schoolsoft as a learning platform.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a F-3 teacher with a mentoring assignment in our grade 3 at Svalsta School. Svalsta School is an F-6 school with an associated after-school program. The school has about 245 students and we have about 35 staff members. We would love to have you as part of our team - welcome with your application! QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for primary teachers with a license issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. You have a clear leadership style and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a confident and well-grounded educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop.

A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have straightforward and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. We consider it particularly meritorious to have good references regarding effective classroom leadership and experience and competence related to early reading and writing instruction and/or mathematics.
