Alpha is a moderately sized middle school with about 515 fantastic students. We have a high qualification rate and high teacher density. We have a competent student health service and team mentors who work with the students' social needs and serve as a link between home and school.

We have initiated an exciting collaboration with Mälardalen University to jointly develop the future teaching materials in mathematics. The work will last for five years.

Goals for Future Teaching Materials in Middle School:

• Significantly better mathematics teaching in Nyköping municipality's middle school classrooms
• Develop and test a prototype for a research-based teaching material for high-quality mathematics education and professional development
• Establish systems and tools for professional development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching mathematics for grades 7-9 together with six colleagues. We have organized mathematics teaching so that we have three mathematics teachers for two classes. This means we have flexible groups that change according to the students' needs and knowledge levels. Participate in the work of developing future teaching materials in mathematics.
